Artists Studio Extension to Listed Building

The clients brief was to utilise an existing Listed Outhouse to form new accommodation to function as an artists studio and living accommodation. Through careful considered dialogue with the local planning authority we successfully obtaining planning and listed building consent for the project. Considered use of materials to create a pavilion like extension allowed for the character of the existing building to be maintained and restored.

The completed project provides accommodation over two levels to create an open plan studio space, toilet, kitchen and lounge space.
